Milk was spilt all over the M25 near Watford this morning after a serious crash closed the motorway for several hours.
Closures were in place anticlockwise between junctions 20 for Kings Langley and 18 near Rickmansworth from around 3am until 6.45am (September 2) while the emergency services dealt with the collision and "large spillage".
National Highways said it was a "serious" crash before police confirmed they were called at 2.25am after a Vauxhall Astra crashed into the back of a milk float between junctions 19 and 18.
All lanes have now reopened on the #M25 anti-clockwise between J19 (#Watford) and J18 (#Rickmansworth) following the earlier collision.
