The Russell School 'proud' to be named among UK's top ten

The UK’s highest-achieving primary and secondary schools have been revealed in the 32nd edition of the newspaper’s league table supplement, published online yesterday morning (December 6).

The Russell School in Brushwood Drive, Chorleywood, placed as the second best primary school in the southeast and seventh best in the entire UK.

“We are equally as proud of our nurturing environment and the enrichment opportunities we offer beyond the curriculum which enables the personal and social development of children to flourish".

According to the Sunday Times, primary schools are ranked based on analysis of their Sats results.

Nascot Wood Junior School also made the southeast’s top 10, placing at number 10. The Watford school ranked joint 75th nationally.

The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide 2025 will be available in print in a 28-page supplement on Sunday, December 8.
