A Watford business has applied for permission to open until midnight and lighten booze restrictions.
Watford Convenience Store, in the section of Market Street between the high street and Exchange Road, submitted a licensing application last month.
It seeks a variation of its conditions that would extend the hours it can sell alcohol to 8am to 11pm Monday to Sunday, and extend the opening hours to 6am to midnight each day.
The application also seeks to remove condition three from its licence and amend condition two.

Its most up to date operating schedule available to view shows that condition two prevents the sale of beers and lagers stronger than 6.5 per cent at the premises while condition three prevents the sale of spirits in containers less than 200ml.
Anyone wishing to make representation related to the application can do so in writing to Watford Licensing Authority, Town Hall, Watford WD17 3EX, or via email to licensing@watford.gov.uk, by August 15.
