Police have found weapons – including a machete – and made arrests after a clash outside Watford flats.
Although only two men have been arrested, police say “a group of people” are thought to have been involved in the “large disturbance” outside Copperdale Court, in The Gateway off Whippendell Road, at around 12.43am on Sunday (October 19).
The machete was among “several” weapons recovered from the scene but no injuries were reported.
- An 18-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
- A 29-year-old man from Watford was arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of a knife/pointed article in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.

Both have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A police spokesperson added: “The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to please contact police via 101 or report online, quoting 41/99353/25.”
House to house enquiries have been carried out and police say they are particularly seeking CCTV or doorbell camera footage.
