A four-day closure for a Watford train station will begin tomorrow.
No services will run from Watford Underground Station in Cassiobury Park Avenue from Thursday (February 19) to Sunday (February 22).
Transport for London (TfL) will carry out "essential" testing of a new signalling system as part of its Four Lines Modernisation project.
It says this work “will support faster, more reliable and more frequent services in the future”.
The closure also affects the Metropolitan Line through all other stations on the same branch, starting at North Harrow. This includes the Moor Park, Croxley, Rickmansworth, and Chorleywood Stations around Watford.
Rail replacement buses will run north of Harrow-on-the-Hill, but TfL has warned journeys may take up to twice as long especially on Thursday and during peak hours.

Chiltern Railways services, which use the line, will also be cancelled beyond Amersham.
Where possible, commuters heading into London may wish to make their way to Watford Junction or Watford High Street instead.
A TfL spokesperson added: "We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while we work to improve the service."
