Police are set to patrol outside a school at drop off time today amid concern over parents’ driving.
Officers from the Abbots Langley Neighbourhood Policing Team will be in place at the corner of Abbots Road and Parsonage Close before school starts (March 16).
The junction is just outside Abbots Langley School and the patrols come amid regular reports of traffic issues at pick up and drop off times by the village’s schools.
A message shared by Herts Police at the weekend confirms it follows “feedback from local residents and parents/guardians around the manner of driving”.
Officers will carry out “general patrols to provide reassurance and to be a visible deterrent”.
