A man in his 20s was killed after his car crashed with a lorry – sparking an appeal for information.
Both vehicles had been travelling along the A412 Denham Way when the man's Skoda Octavia and the lorry crashed at the junction with Old Uxbridge Road at around 5.10pm yesterday (April 26).
Emergency services were called but he was pronounced dead at the scene, near Maple Cross. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
The lorry driver remained at the scene to assist police with their enquiries.
This morning Detective Constable Felicity Walker said: “Firstly, my thoughts are with the man’s loved ones at this sad time.
“We are continuing to appeal for witnesses as we work to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
