A “serious incident” allegedly involving weapons has led to three arrests and two properties being shut down.
Herts Police were called to reports of an affray in the alleyway between Orchard Close and Fairfield Close, Radlett, at around 1pm on June 28.
No one was hurt but weapons were reportedly involved and three people were later arrested, of whom two have since been charged.
- Samuel Patterson, 28, of Stanmore, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
- Jordan Short, 28, of Bishops Rise, Hatfield, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.
Both were bailed until July 30, with conditions including not to enter Radlett.
- A man aged in his 20s, from Radlett, was arrested on suspicion of affray but released with no further action.
Inspector Rachael Robertson said: “The safety of our communities remains our absolute priority.
“Following this serious incident, officers acted swiftly to identify and arrest those suspected to be involved, while also taking longer-term measures to protect those affected.”

On Wednesday (July 1), St Albans Magistrates’ Court granted two partial closure orders for properties in Orchard Close and Fairfield Close.
This means no one except the named tenant and authorised personnel such as the emergency service can enter for three months.
The inspector added: "The partial closure orders granted by the court will help safeguard vulnerable occupants, prevent those linked to this offending from returning to the addresses, and provide reassurance to local residents.”
