An arrest warrant has been issued after a man dodged court over alleged sexual assault on a 13-year-old.
Malachi Wicks, of Station Road, failed to attend his scheduled appearance for trial at St Albans Magistrates’ Court yesterday (September 7).
During a previous hearing on January 21, 2026, the 20-year-old had denied sexual assault on a female and using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm, or distress.
The first offence allegedly took place on January 14 and the second the following day, with both being in the Kings Langley area.

According to court documents, Wicks had intentionally touched a girl aged 13 in a sexual manner when she did not consent and he did not reasonably believe that she was consenting.
HM Courts and Tribunals Service confirmed a warrant has been issued for his arrest due to his failure to attend court.
Update (September 9): Wicks is no longer wanted, Herts Police have confirmed.
