Watford are interested in signing Swansea City captain Matt Grimes ahead of their upcoming Championship campaign.
Grimes led the Swans to the playoffs last season and the BBC are this afternoon reporting that the Hornets are interested in bringing him to Vicarage Road to bolster their midfield.
Reports suggest he is valued around the £10million mark, but that the Welsh side would be reluctant to let him go.
No formal bid is believed to have been made just yet.
The news comes as Watford prepare for Abdoulaye Doucoure to move on, with talks continuing between Everton and the Hornets after the player agreed personal terms earlier this week.
Grimes has three goals to his name from 106 appearances at Swansea.
