Philip Zinckernagel has completed a permanent move to Olympiacos on a three-year deal.

The 27-year-old has joined the Greek side for an undisclosed fee, which is believed to be for an initial payment of €2m.

We understand this could rise further depending on a number of clauses in the deal.

The Dane spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, helping them to promotion to the Premier League through the play-offs, having moved to Vicarage Road from Bodo/Glimt in Norway in January 2021.

Zinckernagel played 21 times for Watford, who have wished him “all the best for the future” in a club statement.
