A flood-prone road has caused “madness” again after torrential rain hit Watford and surrounding areas last night.
Paul, who lives Cassiobury Park Avenue, photographed the road while on a stroll at 8.30am this morning (October 3).
He said he had to jump out of the way of water thrown up by speeding cars, with commuters reportedly struggling down the "uneven and dangerous" stretch.
He said the same thing happened on October 24, when he raised the problem with councils, and added the road was in a bad way due to uneven pavements, leaves and potholes.
Hertfordshire County Council has been contacted for comment.

Elsewhere, flooding caused some Watford FC fans to turn back yesterday while en route to Cardiff when it looked like they may not arrive before 9pm.
One fan who stuck with the journey said he missed the 7.45pm kick-off due to five hours of driving.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire County Council said: “We have an annual programme of cleaning out highway drains, however when there is a period of heavy rain, as we’ve seen in the last few days, the ground can become saturated and drainage systems can be temporarily overwhelmed."
The council encouraged people to report blocked drains or flooding online.
