A damaged pavement has been fixed and a cracking road has been reported for repair in Watford.

North Watford county councillor Asif Khan went to Brighton Road on Saturday (November 12) as a pavement was replaced, funded through a Herts Highways budget he has access to.

On the same day he reported cracking in Leggatts Way for repair by Herts Highways.

Cllr Khan added that it was “great” to meet up with the highways engineers as they finished off the work and took some pictures as it was completed.

Last month the Longspring crossroad with Brighton Road, Gammons Lane, and Leavesden Road was resurfaced using Cllr Khan’s highways locality budget.

However, people in the area still highlighted more local roads in need of repair.
