Audi Quattro sold in Watford and owned by singer auctioned

Described by Iconic Auctioneers as “lovingly preserved and maintained”, the Audi Quattro 20v was built in 1990 before being shipped and and delivered to Verons Audi in the town.

After being sold by the dealership, it covered 50k miles in the first five years but went into storage for the next ten and eventually passed into the Virtual Insanity singer's ownership.

The winning bid was for £59,360, while the original price in 1990 was reportedly around £33k.

Iconic Auctioneers added: “The Audi Quattro wasn’t the first four-wheel drive production car; that title goes to the 1966 Jensen Interceptor FF, but it’s undoubtedly the most iconic.
