A major brand’s Christmas advert that took over Watford High Street for filming has premiered.
Walkers Crisps constructed a set, complete with early Christmas lights and decorations in The Parade Watford on the evening of October 18.
Eagle-eyed Coronation Street viewers on Monday night (November 13) might have spotted a brief and blurry glimpse of Watford Town Centre at the very beginning of the 30-second advert.

The next shot, of two families fighting over their ideal Christmas tree, was filmed in the stripy tent high-street visitors may recognise from last month if they saw the set.
The snack company confirmed the advert was the same one filmed in town. Walkers’ senior marketing director Wayne Newton said: “We hope that this year’s Christmas campaign brings a smile to the nation’s faces and reminds people that amongst the many shared occasions they’ll endure with friends and family this festive season – sharing a bag of Walkers is the biggest no brainer.”
When the ad was recorded, Watford Town Centre BID said: "They selected this location as an ideal Christmas scene, and Watford Council along with Watford Town Centre BID were happy to accommodate."
The nearby Café De Lisboa stayed open until 9.30pm so the cast would not get soaking wet and could enjoy coffee and pastel de natas throughout the evening.
