Trains “cannot run until further notice” on a Watford Junction line.
A points failure reported at 9.44am means lines are blocked between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction and Southern Railway cannot run any trains between the stations.
Disruption is expected to continue until 12pm today (November 15), according to National Rail.

Tickets can be used on the London Overground via Effingham Junction and London Euston or London buses between Watford and Clapham. National Rail warned that these routes may take up to 45 minutes extra.
A further update added that London Northwestern Railway trains between London Euston and Watford Junction trains can also be used.

A disruption alert on the Southern Railway website says: “A points failure at Clapham Junction has closed the line that Southern use to run to and from Watford Junction.
“Network Rail engineers are on site investigating.”
It added: “You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today.
“Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.”
