Hoarding for a new business has been spotted outside an atria Watford unit.

Greyder branding, declaring it is "opening soon", has been put up in the shopping centre's upper mall level, opposite Schuh.

The footwear business is not a household name in the UK but has recently undertaken a rapid expansion after 60 years in the Turkish market.

Greyder sells men’s and women’s shoes, sandals, and trainers as well as its sustainable line Greyder LAB.

It has branches across the Balkan and Baltic regions.

Atria Watford and Greyder have been contacted for confirmation. Update to follow.

It appears set to follow a run of recent atria Watford openings which has included beauty and wellbeing brand Rituals, Poundland, jeweller F. Hinds, kitchen supplies store ProCook, and Dunelm.

Zara is also set to open a new double-size store, moving from smaller existing unit in the shopping centre, in early 2024.

Global Mutual’s Steve Gray added: “Prime retail space like our own remains in high demand and our pipeline for next year is already looking healthy.

“We look forward to giving further positive updates in the months ahead.”
