A man is set to be sentenced over a sexual assault on the London Underground.
Fenil Shah, of High Street, Bushey, admitted to a charge of sexual assault on a female during an appearance in Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (December 28).
It was alleged that he had touched a woman in a sexual manner when she did not consent and he did not reasonably believe that she was consenting between the Wembley Park and Stanmore London Underground stations on June 22, of this year.
The stations are on the Jubilee Line.

The 35-year-old is next set to appear in the magistrates’ court on January 25, for sentencing, after he was convicted during the appearance on Thursday.
The charge falls under section 3 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003.
Sexual assault is an either way offence, this means sentencing can be dealt with by either a magistrates’ court or a crown court.
